  • StabiliGrip is a 3/8" “composite blend”:
    • Rubberized top surface with sandpaper texture

    • Composite core with a fiber mesh
    • TPO* bottom layer
    • *TPO is a blend of thermoplastic, rubber, & proprietary materials
  • Hard/firm floor (equivalent to that of a wood floor, with additional benefits)
  • Maximum traction, even when floor/boots are wet
  • Moisture resistant
  • Helps prevent shifting of cargo during transport
  • Dimensionally stable - will not expand/contract with temperature changes like plastic floors do
  • Rot proof - will not rot or splinter & no issues with mold
  • Chemical resistant
  • Safe for food handling
  • Decreases road noise
  • Easy to clean
  • Easy install - 130"WB is 2 pieces, 148"WB is 3 pieces, 148"WB EXT is 3 pieces
  • Seams are joined by an aluminum “H” channel; flooring is notched on the top for the channel, so that the channel is flush with the floor – a smooth seam
  • Rear and side sills highly recommended (see photos #2 and #3) - heavy-duty steel with non-skid coating / molded to match factory thresholds (rubber tread in stepwell in photo #2 NOT included with sills)
  • Floor weights - 130"WB is 111 pounds, 148"WB is 119 pounds, 148"WB EXT is 139 pounds

Install Tips!

  • Tools Required: Rubber Mallet, 1/2" or 13mm Socket (for removing/replacing factory tie downs)
  • Remove existing floor mat (if any), sills (if any), and tie down rings (may be on floor or at bottom of walls). Place the first panel on floor in front, being sure it's right side up. Tap aluminum spline into dovetail on rear of first panel. Insert the second panel into spline and tap into place. Repeat for any additional panels. Replace sills and tie down rings. That's it! "Floating" floor is retained by vehicle walls and tie down rings. Note: kit includes all necessary hardware and vehicle specific installation instructions.
  • Sill Installation (optional): Install floor. Install sills using either supplied push fasteners into factory holes or supplied screws into floor.

Legend Fleet Transit 3/8" StabiliGrip Composite Floor

Posted by Michael Trusty on 8th Jul 2019

The 3/8" Stabiligrip Composite Floor and associated door thresholds, packed in 2 cartons shrink-wrapped onto a single pallet, arrived on 05 July, and were installed the same day. The entire process took my wife and me about 1-1/2 hours, including removal of just 2 factory tie downs and making a construction paper template pattern for "notching" the rear-most piece of flooring to fit around a factory-installed, floor/left corner-mounted rear a/c unit. The template took perhaps 10 minutes to make and transfer/mask onto the flooring; actual cutting took just a couple minutes at slow speed with a saber saw. The newly notched third piece fit perfectly and looked as though it was made with the notch from the factory. We bought the 2 steel thresholds for the side and rear door openings; these fit quite nicely and installed in about 10 minutes. Overall, the flooring fit was excellent; we are very pleased with the robust material and final appearance. The two aluminum H-channel extrusions that connect the three pieces of flooring also fit well and do not protrude above floor level.

    Perfect Hard Floor

Posted by Jordi on 21st Dec 2018

This floor is hard just like wood. Not squishy at all. It was perfect for what I needed. You probably should buy the door sills. I did not and it was a serious pain to reuse the door sills that came with the van.

    Wow

Was surprised by this floor, the composite material holds up well to use and is very dense.
